Female Fronted Music

Ashes is the fourth full-length album by Norwegian gothic metal band Tristania. The album was released in 2005 and registered a change in the band's musical style, leaving out the choirs, pure vocals of Vibeke Stene, and sounding heavier, both in instrumental and lyrical terms. The album also introduced Kjetil Ingebrethsen for the growls.
